 A recent Arik fight at the portharcourt airport almost became a fighting bout venue as passengers were told Arik Air officials had over sold their tickets to Lagos for that particular flight making them in excess of passengers.

Not wanting to be left behind, passengers literally fought their way through the barriers to board on time.

A passenger  reportedly filmed the whole experience “I was rather surprised at the service rendered by Arik Air Nigeria. We the passengers where left stranded on the tarmac and to be honest, I was really baffled and amazed at the level of poor communication within Arik Air,” the eye witness said

OJB Jezreel discharged from Indian hospital after Successful surgery,to head home soon.

In a statement he thanked well meaning Nigerians for standing by him and helping to get the treatment he needed.

I have been reading a lot of news about ME being published on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and different Blogs by my good friends.

I thought I must take out a quick moment and let you know that I am officially discharged today from the hospital, after a successful Kidney Transplantation Surgery, by God’s Grace.

Created by Nestle Fitness,It has been designed to promote Breast Cancer Awareness month after figures suggest women don't check their breasts often enough for lumps.

Each time Greek celebrity Maria Bakodimus unhooks the clasp, a tweet is sent automatically to remind women to check their breasts as part of Breast Cancer Awareness .Maria Bacodimou (@mariabacodimou) one of the most popular TV presenters in Greece has very willingly joined the  mission and will be wearing a tweeting bra for two weeks. Every time Maria unhooks the bra it will automatically post a tweet.

Every time our bra is unhooked, it sends a signal to a cell phone, the cell phone notifies a server, and the server generates the tweet…as simple as that! It’s the first and only bra that tweets with a mission to remind you one thing you should never forget: your monthly breast self exam!

The bra's clasp is fitted with a sensor that contains a Bluetooth transmitter. When the clasp is unhooked and the connection is broken, it sends a signal to the user's mobile device.
This then generates an automated tweet, which is sent from the Twitter account @tweetingbra. A translated version of the tweet says: 'Don't forget to check your breasts women #tweetingbra.'

Another Plane crash averted as MedView airlines plane suddenly takes off again at Landing point in Abuja.

According to a recent report by Punch another air disaster was averted at the Nnamdi Azikwe Airport, Abuja on Monday as a Med-View Airlines aircraft from Lagos suddenly took to the air again at the point of landing in Abuja.

The pilot told the passengers that he took to the air again to avoid a collision with another aircraft on the tarmac.

The airline Flight VL2104 took off from the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos at noon and was scheduled to land in Abuja at about 1.05pm.

The pilot had already announced final descent into Abuja and asked all passengers and cabin crew to fasten their seat belts but the pilot suddenly took off to the air again with barely 30 seconds to touch ground.

The plane had 150 passengers on board. A correspondent of The PUNCH was one of the passengers.

After about three minutes of gaining altitude, the pilot announced that he decided to take off again to avoid colliding with an aircraft that was on ground.

He said that after he had been granted clearance to land, it was later discovered that the other aircraft was not fast enough, hence his decision to take off.

The aircraft hovered for another 20 minutes in the air before finally landing at about 1.30pm.

Enugu state Governor places wife Clara under House Arrest! First Lady begs Human rights groups to help free her!

This is a report by Sahara Reporters on the plight of Clara Chime Enugu state first Lady.

Clara Chime, the First Lady of Enugu State, says Governor Sullivan Chime, has placed her under house arrest, and has cried out for assistance to reach human rights bodies to rescue her. 

In a letter dripping with pain and suffering, Mrs. Chime disclosed that she married Mr. Chime in October 2008 but that she has been unable to share the matrimonial bed with him for over four years. 

Describing her desperate situation, she said that even President Goodluck Jonathan and First Lady Patience Jonathan have intervened with her husband without success.

“My father is late, my Mum and few of my siblings are confused and have done all kinds of prayers they know of, 3 of my siblings prefers me dead than to see me leave the Government house.  He treats my Mum and my siblings bad,” she wrote.
