Yes we all love Yoruba movies(well me) for their very educative story lines, humour and fantastic representation of the Yoruba culture.

In the very accommodating culture of the Yoruba's we have so many non Yoruba actors and actresses plying their trade in the Yoruba genre.

 This cannot be said of in the English genre, truth is the Yoruba section is always kind of relegated as the "class B's" which isn't supposed to be so I mean apart from Omotola and recently Funke Akindele and Eniola Badmus, there hasnt really been room for Yoruba actresses in English movies despite some of them also being very much educated.

Anyways I want to share with you 5 of them actresses who have been blazing trails in the Yoruba Industry despite not being Yoruba.. so Leggo!

1) Mercy Aigbe Gentry

Mercy speaks Yoruba even more fluently than an average Yoruba girl. She has nurtured her craft over the years starring in uncountable movies and productions including some of hers as well.

Mercy is a fantastic actress,a wife, mother of two and a fashion buff.

The actress hails from Edo State, Nigeria.

Liz Dasilva's pregnancy Problems-Rumoured to be pregnant for 3 men..

Nollywood Actress Liz Dasilva is at the moment heavily pregnant and said to deliver her bundle of joy very soon.

However,controversy seems to want to hinder her joy as she is said to be embroiled in a paternity mess as she might not be sure about who the father of her unborn child is..

If gist reaching First Weekly Magazine is anything to by, then the short drama witnessed during the Bisi Ibidapo Obe/Dino Melaye saga might repeat itself again. But this time, it will shift to another Yoruba actress named Liz Da Silva. 

Tale-bearers within the Yoruba film industry allege that the upcoming sexy actress, Liz Da Silva, who recently held her baby shower in May in Lagos in the presence of few friends, is not sure, who is responsible for her pregnancy out of her three lovers.

According to speculations within the Yoruba movie industry circle, Lizzy, as she is fondly called by her friends, has allegedly taken her pregnancy to three different men, none of whom has accepted responsibility for the unborn baby.

Digs done by First Weekly Magazine showed that Liz Da Silva first went to MC Oluomo, who allegedly slept with her on the night of Oshodi Day, which held in December 2012, but MC Oluomo reportedly denied responsibility for the pregnancy.

Rumour-mongers told First Weekly that shortly after this, Liz turned to one Akeem, who shuttles between Nigeria and the UK, who she dated while she was shooting her movie, which she premiered in October 2012 at White House, Ikeja, Lagos, but that he also rejected the pregnancy.
