Actor Saidi Balogun turned a year older some months back,but had to postpone celebrating due to the deaths of colleagues in the Yoruba movie industry.

He recently held his big celebration, which also saw him visiting the less privileged and remand homes..

In a recent interview with Broadway TV , The Rave of the moment singer reveals he lost his virginity when he he got to Lagos cos according to him Lagos girls are more exposed.

When asked when he got to Lagos he answered that he got to Lagos in 2009 so you can do the maths lol..

He also said he wants to break Michael Jackson's record musically..

Popular comedienne Lepacious Bose opens up on cons of weightloss journey- I made more money when I was fat!

 The popular comedienne who made a name for herself creating a slim name Lepacious Bose when ironically she was no where near being slim recently went on a weightloss journey but it seems all good things indeed have their other sides as she recently revealed she used to make more money when she was overweight than now that she has embraced a new healthy weight. 

 She made this known at a recent news conference saying ..

“I was obese for 25-years. I was never happy being fat and I had health challenges like my thyroids were aggravating, I was depressed, for two years I was not menstruating. I was so emotional and each time I visited the hospital, they will ask me to go and lose weight.

“Though, I was making a lot of money because it was easy cracking jokes about my being fat. Now that I am slimming down, I do not make so much money anymore.

“Above all, my weight loss has been an incredible journey and I am proud of the progress I have made and I don’t intend to stop.

“I am also proud of the fact that my weight loss is an inspiration to others. I am happier, healthier and more confident 

“Presently, I am now a size 16. Two years ago, I was obese with a weight of 198kg.”

“My post on Instagram about my wife having twins was a prophecy from Olowogbogboro. 

Nathaniel Bassey came online and he had the prophecy, so I just tapped into it. If you look at my tweet, you would see what I wrote, I said I heard this news where he gave a big testimony, he gathered people around to pray for my wife and he said that he had a vision that she would have twins and that he will be invited to the naming ceremony next year. I received the good news and I pray it comes to pass,”

#TheVoiceNigeria judge Waje reveals - I was once a chin-chin seller!

Popular singer, Waje, is  one of the biggest voices out of Africa.With various hit tracks and projects as well as holding down one of the biggest singing gigs being a judge on the Voice Nigeria.

It however dint just all fall into her lap.In a recent chat with PUNCH's Saturday Beats, the  mum of one opened up that if she did not toe the path of music to achieve greatness, she would have continued in her chin chin business which she said she started with her friend.

“I don’t like cooking but I love to bake and I did that for a while with my friend Ijeoma Uzodima. We used to have this chin chin company and we used to sell everything in our stock. 

I remember that the magistrates in Onitsha at the time used to order from us and we used to sell it in a small can for about N600. We would cut 50kg chin chin for three days and my back would be paining me. I probably would have continued with that if I was not a singer. Ijeoma who is my very good friend was actually the one who used to push me,” she said.

The sonorous songstress said that the first time she was paid for her performance, she was given N500 and it lasted her for a week.
