I find a bit difficult to talk about issues around children, I mean children thats what they are!

Nollywood actress Chacha Eke and her director hubby recently celebrated their daughter's first birthday,and it was accompanied by a photoshoot for her..

I must commend the lil girl on her poses at just a year old but was makeup and the wigs necessary? I am sure she will just have been as cute without it all..

Pokello launches Louboutin inspired pink bottoms shoe line named after BBA female housemates

The BBA star has just launched her Louboutin inspired pink bottoms which she named after her ex housemates.

In a statement she said -
"It's been a year of studying Shoe Designing and understanding the logistics that come with the business.

We are proud to say finally Pokello has her own Shoe line that will launch December 1st 2014. In the meantime the 13 pairs are being sent out to the all the female housemates whose feedback will be crucial in the final outlook. The rest of the pairs are available in store and people are free to come and have a feel of them.

I am thrilled and it is a dream come true. That first 30 samples are now ready of which the first 13 pairs will go to the female housemates of Big Brother Africa Season 8. Who better to criticize the comfort and quality than my girls who nominated me week in and Week out, lol. The first collection has 10 different colours and is also named after 10 of the female housemates.

I took inspiration from my 3 favourite designers, Sophia Webster for her feminine and soft colours, Sergio Rossi for his seductive shapes and elegant lines and of course Christian Louboutin for his signature trait and dizzy heights.

I have incorporated all those elements but paid more attention to the feet of African Women who sometimes have to squeeze their wide feet into narrow made shoes without ample room for their toes to sit comfortably. With this first collection the main emphasis was on height and comfort. So I dropped from my favourite 12 inches to 11inches and also unlike many pigalle/pointy designs that leave toe cleavage that a lot of African women are uncomfortable with, I insured that the frontal dimensions allowed the toes to be comfortably embedded. Infamous for my love of bright pink lipstick, I made that the signature eye catching aspect of my brand of Shoes.

We will launch the brand on the 1st of December and 3 collections will be available.

Shocking!! Ogun Governor Ibikunle Amosun says EX Governor Gbenga Daniel is not from Ogun but Delta state

"The Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, on Wednesday shocked citizens and residents of the state when he said his predecessor, Gbenga Daniel, is not an indigene of the State.

Mr. Amosun made the shocking claim during his working tour of Odeda local government area where he also indicted himself as being one those who assisted Mr. Daniel to falsify records and claim indigeneship of Sagamu at the time he wanted to contest the governorship seat of Ogun state in 2003.

Says Noble Igwe, the founder of the highly influential blog … 360nobs. Noble used a simple personal diary series “Memoirs of a SLU….shhkid” to spark the growth of the blog.

But (according to him) his worst mistake was stopping the popular series to focus on a new relationship. A mistake he admits still haunts him…

“Looking back, I shouldn’t have stopped writing something that was so huge in terms of traffic generation. I cannot say that I’ve fully recovered from it but I hope to have enough time to write something of that nature soon. If it’s not broken, don’t change it.”

Fortunately, he hasn’t been hampered by that setback and is actively managing the growth of 360nobs along with several other blogs including the fast-rising stylevitae.com.

"Yay! My dad finally gave me permission to buy the 2014 Range Rover and I'm beyond happy. I've wanted this car for so long but he was against me buying it. But it's my birthday this Friday and he finally agreed that I could buy it for myself as a birthday present.

So he and I went to a car company in Victoria Island yesterday and bought this brand new 2014 Range Rover Sports Supercharged. I bought it for N24million. Yeah, I know! Its a lot of money to spend on a car but I've been wanting this car since it came out...so...lol. But I swear I've been feeling so guilty since I bought it. I keep telling myself 'do you know how many lives you would have changed with N24million?" A lot, I know...but my life is important too na, abi? Lol.

Amazing Testimony of First Consultants Doctor, Ada Igonoh who Survived Ebola..

Ebola has been ravaging West Africa and when a Liberian-American brought it to Nigeria the government had to rise up to the occasion.

However First consultants hospital where the Late Sawyer was shown care hasnt been so lucky haven lost about 4 of their core staff.

Dr Adah Igonoh was also a doctor in that Hospital,contracted Ebola and by a miraculous turnaround she survived!

I call it a Testimony because its an account you will read and would bow down and say GOD you are GOD! and who am I that you are mindful of me!

On the night of Sunday July 20, 2014, Patrick Sawyer was wheeled into the Emergency Room at First Consultants Medical Centre, Obalende, Lagos, with complaints of fever and body weakness. The male doctor on call admitted him as a case of malaria and took a full history. Knowing that Mr Sawyer had recently arrived from Liberia, the doctor asked if he had been in contact with an Ebola patient in the last couple of weeks, and Mr. Sawyer denied any such contact. He also denied attending any funeral ceremony recently.

Who is Saheed Balogun?

Saheed Balogun is a God-fearing person with a humble beginning and a graduate of statistics from Kwara State Polytechnic. I grew up in the North and that was hectic for me but I survived.

 My late father was a soldier and my mother, a trader. I am above forty years of age. I am an actor and a producer for decades now. I tend to help people remember their past, shape their present and see into their future through my works. Also, I am a typical Yoruba man from Oyo State.

How did you venture into acting?
Acting for me is an inborn talent because I got the gift from my dad who would make every one laugh at the barracks including the “always frowning and most feared” soldiers. I have only commercialized mine and I am so happy I did. Again, the desire and passion for acting was like a burning fire and I have followed it to the last letter.

Which movie brought you into limelight?
Every one of my movies have brought me into limelight and that is why I have many names. At a time, it was Walata when I did Ologbo dudu by Kola Olotu, later Omo Alhaja, some people still call me Mallam because of my character in a soap years back. (Smiles) I am different things to different people.

Synagogue church of all Nations Building collapses;church releases statement

A Building in the premises of the SCOAN church reportedly collapsed this afternoon leaving many dead and several injured.

The Accuracy of figures however hasnt been ascertained as pressmen were reportedly not allowed anywhere near the collapse building scene.

The Church has however said something via social media..

Oscar Pistorius found guilty of Culpable Homicide of Girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp; Sentencing to commence 13th October

Pistorius' six month long trial is winding up, with him cleared of murder charges, but found guilty of culpable homicide of his girlfriend Reeva on Valentines day last year.

I mean this whole trial has been to justify if there was "an intent" to actually kill or not..

The athlete has  however been released on bail despite being found guilty of  manslaughter of his girlfriend.

He was granted an extension to his bail until his sentencing on October 13 

Both sides will be able to call witnesses to argue ahead of the judge's ruling on if, or for how long, Pistorius is sent to prison for negligently killing Reeva Steenkamp.

The hearing will decide whether he faces a prison term of up to 15 years, but equally could see him walk free with a suspended sentence.
