The 2014 Anna Wintour hosted  MET Gala held last night at the Museum of art In New York..

The centre of attention: Photographers scrambled to get photos of the A-listers, such as Sarah Jessica who wore a Oscar de la Renta monochrome gown, as they arrived on the red carpet

Ah one point Sarah's impressive skirt appeared to become caught, prompting a well dressed gentleman to stoop to help her

Rihanna strikes a pose for the hoards of waiting photographers in her daring white Stella McCartney gown

Rihanna's sweeping statement gown featured a bold cut out which showed off her enviable stomach, but maintained an elegant overall look with long sleeves and an embellished high neck
