Deola Sagoe is one of the biggest designers from Nigeria and out of Africa.

She is set to make her acting debut as Afrobeat Legend, Fela Anikulapo's Mum(Activist Funmilayo Ransome Kuti) in a brand new movie production October 1.

October 1 is the brainchild of ace filmmaker Kunle Afolayan who has brought us previous international productions like the Figurine,Irapada,Phoneswap and many more..

Remembering the Legend that is,Fela Anikulapo Kuti 16 years on!

Fela Could be described as one of the greatest exports out of Africa to the world more like a gift from Africa to the world.

Even in death Fela's Music still shines through with so much relevance like a prophet who saw tommorrow. Fela's life has been studied and analysed all around the world and even played on broadway with some of the most fantastic actors on the Planet trying to bring the Legend's life to life #excusemypun.

Its been 16 years the Legend left  but his seeds continue to carry on the Legacy of Afrobeat music which her originated propagated.

He  was a Man who "DID" his own thing even coining his own fashion style Choices,He strove for excellence equal rights,human rights,spoke against Corruption was totally fearless and wished for a better Nigeria. Fela However went home August 2nd 1997.
