British music Legend David Bowie dies @ 69!

British music legend Singer David Bowie has passed  following a battle with cancer.

His son director Duncan Jones confirmed the news in  a statement  released Via his official social media accounts.

"David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18-month battle with cancer,"  

"While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family's privacy during their time of grief."

The singer only released his latest album Blackstar on his birthday Last Friday.

His last  Known live performance was at a New York charity concert in 2006.

Blackstar, which includes just seven songs, had been well received by critics.

Bowie's breakthrough came with 1972's The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars.

His hits include Let's Dance, Space Oddity, Heroes, Under Pressure, Rebel, Rebel, Life on Mars and Suffragette City.

He was aged 69, survived by two children and supermodel wife Iman RIP!

Yea I know! I am a bit late to the party! But some of us like to wait and then binge watch the whole series and thats exactly what happened with power. Now am done with both seasons and can now state my views.

 But Wait!Why dint y'all tell me about power since?! Hands up I am an empire fan BUT Power is the ish just one episode and am wondering why power inst as popular as empire yes they are very similar and forget that beef with executive producer Curtis Jackson AKA 50 cent and  some other casts of empire but what is surprising is how empire is much more popular than power.

Social media stats on twitter alone shows 114k followers for Power with close to 700k for empire

So why is empire much more popular than power if i think power is better??

Well here are 6 reasons why we are loving power over empire

1)There is a solid story!

I am not saying empire doesnt have a story but really it all got watered down in season two,with the same ol same ol,Luscious being brutal as usual,Cookie being her normal self,Hakeem still being his usual spoilt brat rapper chasing girls and all.

Jamal is always the star for me simply because I love  the music! and every season Jamal played by Jussie Smollet always has great music for the show.

War's over! Davido and baby Mama+their Families sign peace agreement!

After all that  Season 1 and  Season 2 dramas they gave us Music star Davido and his baby Mama Sophie Momodu and their Families seem to have fund a way to broker peace and try to settle things amicably and away from the media. 

 This decision was reportedly arrived at,at a meeting held at the instance of the Na­tional Agency For the Prohibition of Trafficking In Per­son (NAPTIP) which was attended by Sophia, the musi­cian’s father, Deji Adeleke, Mr. and Mrs. Dele Momodu, Adeleke’s lawyer, counsel to Dele Momodu, Gbolaga Ajayi, Mr. Ajayi Famakinwa, and NAPTIP’s representa­tives. 

At the meeting, it was decided that the issue be resolved amicably and that both families should stop the ongoing media war.

Consequently, both sides were made to sign an agreement to stop the media face-off.

NAPTIP’s representatives, who took Sophia and Dele Momodu and his wife’s statements, advised the Adelekes to allow the child’s mother have access to her child, currently in custody of Davido’s half-sister, Ashley Adeleke.

Momodu’s lawyer, Gbolaga Ajayi, who con­firmed that the meeting held, told Daily Sun that the issue of blackmail being alleged by Davido does not arise.

Ohhh  thats great news! for little Imade y'all let peace reign..

So what was Kim doing at a medical clinic??Someone says Kim May have gone for some surgical procedures especially a tummy tuck  before her big post baby bod reveal and would then say she's been exercising  lol... Could that be true though??

Netflix in Nigeria!

On Demand Online Movies streaming Portal  Netflix has lifted its location restrictions and Nigerians can now connect to the portal to stream and watch  their favourite movies and TVshows .

That sees like good news right?!But what does it mean for Nigerians really when  internet connectivity and Data is  so expensive and slow?!

What does this mean for Digital satellite TV  if  people can stream loads and loads of movies and TV shows  unlimited for less than $8 a month why do they need DSTV OR IROKO TV??

How would Nigerians pay for their subscription with the CBN policies on Naira cards? 

I guess with time  Nigerians can work around these challenges and we would know if  indeed Netflix is here to stay!

The Singer recently opened up on motherhood  to Parents Magazine.. 

ON Welcoming her son shortly after loosing her mum Kelly says to Parents "I had my heart set on breastfeeding, but I wasn't producing enough milk. I got down on myself, which I think was mentally limiting my supply,"  

She eventually supplemented with formula. And then there was the universal new-parent struggle for sleep. "Even when the baby was sleeping, Tim and I weren't!" Rowland says.

Their private chef has spilled some details about their diet .Allen Campbell who works for the couple in Boston and often goes on the road with them .But having a professional chef at their disposal doesn't mean Tom, Gisele, and their kids are eating gourmet pasta and crème brûlée every night. In fact, they never eat those things. 

Allen reveals that most of their diet consists of vegetables, and there is a long list of things they won't put on the table.

He says Their diet is incredibly restrictive, limited mostly to vegetables and occasional lean meats.

'I make conscious decisions to buy local and organic, and to stay away from GMOs, and to think about the future of the planet and the future of humans,'

 The couple won't eat sugar, flour, MSG, or iodized salt and stick to whole grains and organic produce

Britain's Royal prince Prince George was photographed on his first day at school today in Norfolk.The two year old prince started pre school at the Westacre Montessori nursery school and his Mum the Duchess of Cambridge was kind enough to share  these cute photos of him..

The nursery is close to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's home at Anmer Hall on the Queen's Sandringham Estate.

The young prince will attend the nursery while the couple are staying at their Norfolk home but not when they are in residence at Kensington Palace in London.

The school follows the principles of Italian doctor Maria Montessori who developed a new approach to teaching in the early 20th Century, in which children take responsibility for their own learning.

How cute is George?!

Totally different to when his Dad Prince William started nursery some 20 something years ago! 

Prince George's father William was the first senior royal to go to nursery and not start his education in a palace.

Birth of Imade Adeleke
When the second trimester of Sophia’s pregnancy was closing, she tortuously announced to me that she was in the family way.
My mind was bemused,and so was my soul confused. But I quickly realized that nothing more could be done to alter my status as a father-to-be. I knew that i was not ready to be a dad. Still, I adjusted myself to the realities of my new situation and the consequences of my past personal indiscretions. 

I made the determination that I was going to be a good dad. I also reasoned that my blunder is not enough pretext to make me a husband. I was just 21. And so I decided to be a responsible dad without being husband to the mother of my baby. I never was in love with Sophia neither was marriage ever in the offing.
