MELISSA HARRIS-PERRY For Glamour: You have been in our lives a long time, playing pro tennis for nearly 20 years. Is the game still fun?

SERENA WILLIAMS: Yes! When I first started really playing, in ’98, I was super excited to see all the people I grew up watching. … I loved Monica Seles, Steffi Graf, and Pete Sampras. ... Now it is different yet somehow more exciting. Everything now is a bonus.

MHP: You’re one Grand Slam away from tying Graf’s singles record. Do you think about it when you’re playing?

SW: I do. But it’s not the end-all, be-all. It’s something I would like to achieve, but I’ve achieved so much on the court and off already.

 You have been called “the world’s greatest athlete.” Do you welcome that label? Does it feel accurate to you?

SW: Oh my gosh, I don’t know. That’s so hard to say. I try to be the best that I can be every day. I have bad days. I had a bad day the other day. I hit for only, like, 30 minutes, and I stormed off the court. But that was the best I could do on that day. So am I the greatest? I don’t know. I’m the greatest that I can be.

Actress Seyi Edun denies Dating Toyin Aimakhu's Ex Hubby Adeniyi Johnson

Theyve been photographed together a lot in exotic locations but Yoruba movie actress Seyi Edun has denied dating her colleague Toyin Aimakhu's Ex Husband Adeniyi Johnson..

In a recent chat with Punch she says  “My man understands me and the kind of job I do; I manage my relationship well. I cook for him. My boyfriend is not in the entertainment industry. There is no iota of truth in the rumour that I am dating Niyi Johnson. We used to be very close and we have done some jobs together. He featured in my last movie; we have a working relationship. There is no  love affair between us.

“I don’t know where the rumour emanated from. We travelled together to Dubai but we were not alone. We were about six actors that embarked on that trip.  Another member of the group travelled with us and Niyi was the director of the person’s movie while I directed another movie.

“We were just playing on set and we asked the question if a woman could propose to a man. I was planning to do a similar story around that topic, so we took a picture of him proposing to me to see people’s reaction and just to sample people’s opinion. That was what brought about the proposal picture. We took another picture together just to clear the air. 

Whenever we shoot in Lagos, we are always together because we are very close. There is no love affair between us. My man knows me so he does not feel bad when he reads such, besides he knows Niyi. We laugh together whenever he sees such stories and we have been in a relationship for a very long time. He is used to things like that. Most times I am always with him and we just laugh about it.”

Seyi shot into limelight with her debut movie, ‘Eja Nla which she produced..

  

Big Brother Africa cancelled again for another year!

Waohhh abi we just forget Big Brother Africa ever existed since it seems its going to be cancelled for another year altogether..

According to a statement credited to M-net  it has confirmed that the long awaited Big Brother Africa show has been cancelled for the second time due to lack of sponsors. It was also cancelled last year for the same reason..

 M-Net’s statement indicates the acclaimed reality show is not taking place as it is undergoing an evaluation process.

“At the moment, the team is busy re-evaluating the strategic direction of Big Brother Africa. Be assured that when it returns, it will be bigger and better,”  

It further states: “We wish to thank Big Brother Africa fans far and wide for their continuous support over the past editions and promise that the show will go on, on DStv, with new and exciting productions in store from M-Net.”

“M-Net would like to confirm that Big Brother Africa is not part of our upcoming programming schedule.”

M-Net indicated that they are currently busy with other regional Big Brother productions, with Big Brother Angola being the most current production which started on March 13 and ended recently.

The last time Mnet hosted the regional reality show was in In 2014 BBA Hotshots as  season 9 of the reality show,  which was postponed by a month after a fire swept through the Sasani Studios complex in Johannesburg, the seat of the Big Brother Africa house.

Legendary boxer Muhammad Ali has passed on.

The boxer often referred to aS a GOAT(greatest of all time) was hospitalised yesterday when he  was found in his home barely breathing and prayers were up for him to come around as doctors warned the end could be near.

But I guess his years of battling Parkinsons disease must have taken a toll on his health and he bowed to death.

Muhammad was a devout muslim,Humanitarian and was responsible for so many inspirational quotes and sayings.

They will star on Rob & Chyna on E! network which is home to Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Mum Kris is reportedly  a producer on the show which will launch later this year.

 There will be six, one-hour episodes, plus a special celebrating the birth of their upcoming baby.

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris split after 15 months!

It seemed like it was a match made in heaven with both stars previously been with popular celebrities,it seemed like they were made to soothe each other but that is not to be as Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris(Real name Adam Wiles) have just ended their 15 month relationship. 

The Couple who celebrated their one year together a few months back with a loved up romantic holiday have shocked fans who thought they were indeed gearing up strong for the long haul..

According to reports  There was no drama. Things just didnt work  out ! 

 They were just not very compatible in different areas in their relationship. The touring and traveling didn't help. It seemed like they were more friends than lovers, "Taylor and Adam had very different group of friends, "100 percent did not cheat." E! says

 "She was in Nashville with her family and they have been helping her through the break up."

 "Taylor was really disappointed in Calvin and felt like he wasn't there for her. The relationship wasn't progressing the way she wanted it to. "This all happened last week," a source told E!  "Taylor and Adam had no big blowout fight, but the romance just was not there anymore for them. Adam is the one that ended it. It was all done in a very mature fashion. Taylor is pretty upset but they are still in communication. Taylor was there for Adam with his accident and supportive."

Neither of the stars have spoken out about the breakup.

Taylor has previously been with Harry styles, Taylor lautner,John Mayer,Jake Gyllenhaal,Joe Jonas amongst others which have often become the inspiration behind most oh her hit singles.

  Calvin  has also  had a well publicized relationship with Rita Ora.

Annie Idibia Gets Dragged By Tuface's Baby Mama Pero Adeniyi's Sister Over Her Instagram Post

Annie Macaulay is married to one of Africa's biggest stars Tuface Innocent Idibia.

 And before they tied the knot it was kinda like a battle on who would get to be Mrs idibia as the music star as at the time had three baby mamas with each having at least one child for him.

I guess Annie dint envisage the battle she would have to continue fighting after she eventually got the ring and became Mrs idibia.

She seems to get along with Tuface's other baby mama Sunbo who is now married to a pastor,but hardly gets along with Pero the one who even has more kids for her husband with 3 children for Tuafce.

Wizkid's second baby mama Binta Diallo shares 99.9% accurate DNA Test result confirming Wizkid is the father of her son..

Wizkid has only one son Boluwatife whom he has publicly acknowledged. However after his relationship with American model Diallo,he left her with a baby which she claims he had'nt even seen and wanted him to step up and take responsiblity

In a bid to silence critics who may have claimed Binta's Son may not have been the Ojuelegba singer's child,Binta who has not only named her son after Wizkid (real names Ayodeji Balogun),she also went ahead to get a DNA test which she then  posted online via her social media channels.
