Green with envy: The 28-year-old looked like she had just stepped out of the pages of a graphic novel as she posed up for an early morning shoot for Paper Magazine

Colourful isnt even enough to describe these images of Rihanna, taken as she photographed for a paper magazine shoot.


The 28 year old transformed her look with a green wig and a multi coloured dress as she posed for the magazine shoot  


Colorful shoot: She posed up a storm despite it being 3am, first spending time inside a Lower East Side bodega before emerging looking completely different to pose against a graffiti'd wall

Shady lady: After donning a number of outfits inside the corner store, she emerged in a bright green wig

Chameleon chic: Rihanna has never been afraid to change up her look and, on Tuesday, she transformed once again in New York

The X factor: The hair piece - which had bangs and fell in haphazard waves past her shoulders - made her look like a fashion superhero

No chill: And perhaps she has superhero powers, as the Work singer did even seem to notice Manhattan's bitter cold which dropped to just above freezing during the early morning shoot

Baby it's cold outside: The star's legs were given no protection against the cold with the star wearing a knitted long sleeved dress

Rose colored glasses: In some shots, Rihanna also wore a pair of red lens sunglasses

That works too: However, the 28-year-old mainly used them as a prop to pose provocatively
