Former Minister of Transport Ojo Maduekwe has passed on!

Just after the news of Elechi Amadi broke its just been confirmed that  Former Minister of Transport and Secretary to the PDP Board of Trustees, Ojo Maduekwe has died.

He reportedly passed on  at his residence in Abuja on Wednesday night shortly after returning from a trip to the US.

He was a former Minister of Culture and Tourism a former Minister of Transportation and a former foreign minister

He was aged  71!

Literary giant;Concubine writer Elechi Amadi dead at 82!

Author,Novelist and literary Icon Elechi Amadi has passed on at 82!.

The author behind popular books like the Concubine and Sunset in Biafra reportedly passed on at a portharcourt hospital today.

The Rivers state government has since released a statement detailing his passing.

I loved literature so much in school and i remember reading the Concubine Amazing!

US first lady  Michelle Obama and her daughters Sasha and Malia  indulged in a traditional Moroccan iftar with Princess Lalla Salma, the wife of King Mohammed VI, on Tuesday evening. 

The Obamas were joined by actress Meryl Streep and other members of the Moroccan Royal family at the sumptuous dinner to break the fast during the holy Muslim month of Ramadan at King's Palace in Marrakesh.

The group touched down in Spain on the latest leg of their trip on Wednesday morning.
